Each month Dolittle’s highlights an employee's lovable pet. These wonderful critters are the first line of approval for all things Dolittle’s. Whether it's a new food or a tried and true toy, our employees' pets are the ideal test audience. Join us as we host an interview with each of them.
You will gain some insightful information as these dogs and cats offer us unfiltered opinions of their lives on the couch, in the car, at the food bowl, and everywhere in between.
This month we’re meeting Sunny. Sunny shares the house with Ashley from our Summerville location.
Dolittle’s: Hi Sunny, thanks for taking time out of your schedule to talk to us. Let’s start with how you and your human find each other?
Sunny: I met my mom at an adoption event. She actually came there hoping to adopt another dog and fell in love with me instead!
D: You are a charmer. Tell us, what’s the best car ride you have been on?
S: I rode with my family some 1,540 miles to South Dakota last summer. I loved being in such close quarters with my humans and sleeping in the hotel beds!
D: Quite the life you. . . was that the doorbell?
S: Even if it wasn't, I'm going to bark at it just in case.
D: Good tactic! We totally approve. Where were we? Oh yeah, what’s your favorite treat?
S: My favorite treat is popcorn! Literally obsessed.
D: We know a dog that has a similar obsession. What’s the craziest creature you have met?
S: A great egret with an injured leg in my backyard. I wasn't sure what to do so I barked and danced in circles all around him while simultaneously trying to get close enough to give him a good sniff!
D: Our days are full of missed sniffs, aren’t they? Tell us about your favorite toy.
S: My favorite toy is the MultiPet Globlet pig. I particularly love to play. . .
D: SQUIRREL!
S: WHERE?!?!?!
D: It’s gone now, you were saying?
S: I was saying how much I love to play with the noisy pig in the living room at 3am while everyone's asleep.

D: Well, say no more. We will be honking our Globlet at 3am from now on. Last question: what is your favorite thing about Dolittle’s?
S: Smelling all the smells and of course, THE TREATS!!!!
